Audit repeated greenhouse events

Two repeated IDs do not mean two extra rows

Overlapping sensor exports can include extra copies of the same event. Botie has stable event IDs and needs to audit duplicate rows.

BOTIE

IDs [8, 8, 8, 9, 10, 10] contain two IDs that repeat. What should the requested audit count?

An overlapping export

Several copies

This check uses the pieces from “Count copies beyond distinct event identities”.

BOTIE

All four imported rows carry the same stable event ID. Predict the number of extra copies beyond the distinct event.
Imported sensor event IDs
  1. 051
  2. 151
  3. 251
  4. 351

Use a number, text, or an array matching the requested result. For a matrix, put each row in brackets. Saving your prediction runs your current construction on these inputs and checks the earlier examples too.

Build a construction in the workspace above first. This case will test those pieces.

Why could equal temperature values be legitimate while equal stable event IDs signal copies, and what assumption makes this audit valid?

Use observation identity to detect duplication. A repeated measurement value alone does not identify the same event.

This audit assumes IDs identify events reliably. It does not decide which conflicting record should be kept.
